Titus 3
In Paul’s closing words to Titus, he challenged him to remind the people of who they are, who they once were, and of the work God had done to transform them. Cheryl Brodersen painted the picture of God’s transforming work in our lives as a complete renovation: “We all were once fixer-uppers … until the kindness of God appeared, and now we are show-stoppers!” Truly, as we remember who we are in Christ, who we once were, and all Jesus did to transform us, we are able to be who we were created to be; our faith is increased, our outlook towards others changes, and good works flow out of our lives as a delight rather than a duty.
