Grace Will Get Us There!

2 Timothy 2:1-13

In this passage, Paul exhorts Timothy to be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. He knew the challenges and trials that Timothy faced, and he knew the true source of help—God’s grace. Cheryl reminded us that grace is not only the attitude of God toward lost humanity, but it is also God’s sufficiency for our every deficiency … and Jesus is the source! We were encouraged to be strong in our reliance on God’s grace; strong in our knowledge of God’s grace; strong in our practice of God’s grace; and strong in exemplifying God’s grace. It is the grace that is in Jesus Christ that will lead us home!
