Prioritizing God’s Word

2 Timothy 4:1-8

In this passage, Paul gave Timothy a strong charge to “Preach the Word.” Cheryl Brodersen walked us through when we are to preach, how we are to preach, and why we are to preach. She encouraged us to use God’s Word in every conversation, paraphrasing it when needed, and allowing its power to work in the hearts of the hearers. We must be ready in season and out of season, having a ready arsenal of Scripture hidden in our hearts, and giving it the place of highest priority in our lives. God’s Word is where the power is found, and where transformation begins!
