2 Timothy 4:9-22
As Paul closes his last letter to Timothy, he is staring death in the face. It is often in the midst of crisis that we truly see what matters most, and here we see what Paul valued, his priorities, and his faith. Cheryl Brodersen used Paul’s example to remind us of the true measure of a life: one that prioritizes the eternal and trivializes the trivial; one that invests in and prioritizes relationships, God’s Word, and grace; and one that prioritizes the Lord’s presence, the gospel, and our eternal destiny—heaven! Paul’s life was a testimony of grace and a legacy of hope because of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
