Overview

The women’s ministry is led by Cheryl Brodersen and has many different opportunities available for Bible study, fellowship, and prayer.

Our Joyful Life Bible Study meets on Friday mornings at 9:30 AM and Tuesday evenings at 7 PM, both in the Fellowship Hall. All women are welcome.

The women’s ministry also has retreats, conferences, outreaches, and many other opportunities for fellowship, serving, and prayer. Come join us!

Staff

Cheryl Brodersen

Cheryl Brodersen, wife of Pastor Brian Brodersen, leads our women’s ministry and Joyful Life Bible Study. She is an author and has been a Bible teacher for over 30 years. It is her joy and privilege is to minister biblical truths to women.

Angie Emma

Angie Emma is the administrator of the women’s ministry at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa and has served in various women’s Bible studies, as well as in book publishing and editing for over 25 years. Her heart is to encourage women and see them light up as truth from the Scriptures becomes real to them.

Keilah Gaviria

Keilah serves both as overseer of worship for Joyful Life, and assists with editing our curriculum and studies. She also serves with BLOOM, our young women’s ministry! Her heart is for women to grow in the knowledge of Christ and His Word, as well as in spiritual maturity.
