Axios: Veterans Ministry

AXIOS | Veterans Ministry

Overview

Introducing Axios Veterans Ministry. Our vision is for veterans and service members to find a Christ-centered community that provides a sense of belonging and purpose. Incorporating the bond of service with the bond of Christ will provide the opportunity for healing, restoration, and finding value/identity in Christ. Our passion is to help add value and equip both veterans and service members to discover and utilize their gifts. We desire to a ministry that pours into both the church and community.

Our mission is to provide an authentic and genuine community for veterans and service members, to support and encourage them to persevere through their hardships and struggles, and point them toward healing as they embrace their identity and worth in Christ.

“For while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come. For to this end we toil and strive, because we have our hope set on the living God, who is the Savior of all people, especially of those who believe” (1 Timothy 4:8–10, ESV).

Pastor / U.S. Army Chaplain Candidate
I have the honor to represent CCCM as an U.S. Army Chaplain Candidate. I have currently served for over four years at the rank of First Lieutenant and minister, counsel, and preach to the soldiers one weekend a month. I am so thankful for the calling God has given me that has allowed me to participate in such a unique and blessed ministry as both a Chaplain and a Pastor. My heart and desire is to continue to serve and minister to everyone at CCCM, especially the veterans, current serving members, and their families as I gain the pastoral experience to become an Active Duty Army Chaplain.

Pastor / U.S. Army Chaplain Candidate
I have the honor to represent CCCM as an U.S. Army Chaplain Candidate. Currently, I have been serving our soldiers in the U.S. Army Reserves as a First Lieutenant for four years. With being discipled by our faithful pastoral staff and solidifying my pastoral training here at CCCM, I desire to pour back into our church family, including the veterans, those who are currently serving, and their families. As I am blessed with this opportunity of completing my pastoral training here at CCCM, I will then commission as an Active-Duty U.S. Army Chaplain.
