2 Kings 1

In this message, Monica Duguid takes us through 2 Kings 1 to reveal cost of removing oneself from the authority of God. Ahab’s son, Ahaziah, chose to take himself out from under the authority of the word of God and the lordship of God, and it led to destruction. We saw the fire of God fall twice! But, God continued to pursue His people in His unfailing love and mercy. We were reminded that we each have the choice to say “my way” or Yahweh.” For us, as we choose to go His way, and to come under His grace, the fire of God falls on the sacrifice—Jesus—and not on us.
