Men's Prayer Watch

The psalmist wrote "Behold, bless ye the Lord, all ye servants of the Lord, which by night stand in the house of the Lord." Psalm 134:1
The Men's Prayer Watch began when Pastor Chuck covered this verse during a Sunday night study in 1977. He said that we would have men praying for the needs of the church body at Calvary Chapel and they would be available to pray with people by phone from 10 PM to 8 AM. Since then the Prayer Watch has continued 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
The Prayer Watch has 3 shifts each night, 3 1/2 hours in length each. The men are on a 2 week rotating schedule. The men chose to serve either one shift a week, one shift every other week, or multiple shifts.
In addition to praying with those who call in during the night, we pray for the requests that have been received in the church office, the Prayer Watch and other ministries on campus.
This is an ideal ministry opportunity with no possibility of reward from anyone but the Lord.
Once we receive your indication of interest in joining us, we will send you an application. Within one to three weeks after your application is received, we will contact you to arrange a training time to explain the policies and procedures of the Prayer Watch.
