Women's Ministry

Friday Mornings:
Our Joyful Life theme “Lineage of the King” begins Friday, Sept. 19. If you did not have a chance to pre-register for a small group, please come on the 19th to the kiosk in front of the sanctuary at 8:45 am and you will be assigned to a group of ladies for fellowship and encouragement.
Groups meet at 9:00 am, followed by worship and a message by Cheryl Brodersen at 10:15 am in the main sanctuary. All women are welcome and childcare is available.

Tuesday Evenings:
Join us again in the fall for our regular "Joyful Life Women's Study". We will be starting on September 16th with this year's theme, "Lineage of the King". The evening begins at 7:00 p.m., in the Fellowship Hall. It is a casual time of worship, listening to various speakers and fellowship - a time to study the Bible, gain biblical perspective and grow in our knowledge and love for Jesus Christ. Attend when you can! Childcare is provided.


Men's Ministry

The men's fellowship is led by Pastor Ken Sutton and several small group leaders. The purpose of the men’s fellowship is to connect men with the Lord and one another. We study together, pray together, eat together, and meet in small groups on Tuesday evenings. The men's fellowship also plans annual short-term missions trips and retreats as well as regular BBQs. We meet every Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. in the Main Sanctuary.


The House

"theHOUSE" is a Bible study for all college age students and young adults who want to learn about Jesus. It is led by Pastor Abraham de Alba. We meet every Friday night at 7:30 p.m. in the Charis building. Check out for complete details.

Intersection for cccm

The Intersection

We are a group of believers with a common goal to worship God in Spirit and in truth. The Intersection family meets weekly for a time of worship through song and reading through God's Word that we may mature as believers. We also join once a month to visit an orphanage in Tijuana, Mexico. If you're wanting to meet new people and desire to grow in your faith with other believers we invite you to come on out on Friday night at 7:30 p.m. to meet The Intersection Family and Pastor Larry Reyes.


Married Couples Monthly Celebration

Honor In Marriage (HIM) ministries is about seeking God in all that He has for us in our marriages. To re-learn new habits on how to love that person you made your vows to.
It is our prayer that you will be blessed, as together, we seek the Lord in all that He would have for us in our marriages.

Shine Outreach

SHINE Thursday nights at 7pm with Co-founder of The Whosoevers, Ryan Ries. Ryan takes from his life experiences and what’s happening in today’s culture as he teaches through key stories in the Bible. Ekklésia High School Ministry

At Ekklésia our desire is to help grow and nurture the faith of young believers; knowing they are fully capable of having a fruitful and lasting relationship with Jesus Christ. The fellowship emphasizes the importance of prayer and biblical study to strengthen community and build students up in their walk. If you are between the ages of 14-18 and are looking for a place of fellowship or just a nice beverage from our “Cool Beans” coffee ministry— please join us on Wednesday nights in the Charis Sanctuary at 7:00 PM or Sunday nights in the Charis Sanctuary at 6:30 PM.


Foundations Jr. High Ministry

We are passionate about serving each and every student with the love of God,so that He can radically transform their lives. Along with our weekly services on Sunday mornings, Sunday nights, and Wednesday nights, we also have many fun events for the kids to get involved with. If you are interested in seeing what we are all about, feel free to stop by our office or sit in on a service anytime.


Children's Ministry

Calvary Chapel has a wonderful children's ministry. The focus is on teaching God's Word in a way that the children can understand and apply to their lives. We enforce biblical concepts through crafts and memory verses.


Senior's Fellowship

Our Senior's Fellowship is a Bible study held on Monday evenings in the Fellowship Hall that starts around 6:30 p.m. with informal fellowship and potluck style desserts and beverages, study beginning at 7:00 p.m. Our group is comprised of couples and singles who are nearing or are past retirement age. We have twice annual retreats, day-trips to local attractions, dinner nights, and potluck dinners, all with a Christ-centered focus on the sharing of God’s Word in verse-by-verse teachings.


Assisted Living

An often forgotten group of people are those in assisted living homes. Left by families, forgotten by friends, they long for fellowship and love. So come join us as we touch lives and share the love of Jesus through Bible teaching, singing, reading, encouragement, exhortation, and simply being a part of their lives.


Armor of Light

A ministry of Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa, Armor of Light's mission is to share God's love with military personnel and their families. We reach out by meeting the physical & spiritual needs of those the Lord puts in our path. Armor of Light provides weekly Sunday services, a mid-week study, food staples, and clothing, outreaches, and hosts numerous events each year.
